Woman's Art Show tentatively April to July 2022 OMAH
Given this year's theme, it is perhaps more than appropriate to paint a couple sailing on Lake Simcoe. However, the "Lifeline" in this case is not a life preserver but the beginnings of a great love and commitment. The reference photo dates from 1953 when these young lovers first started on their lifelong journey together. I was struck by their body and facial expressions and moved to put it on canvas.
