Toby on the Beach
Watercolour on aquabord, 20x16 (framed: 26x23), NFS
This is a painting of my beautiful Aunt, Toby. The reference photo was an old B&W from my mother's collection of old photos. It was taken on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and only recently discovered, to have been taken at her secret elopement to Uncle Harvey when he was on leave from the Canadian Armed Forces near the end of WWII. They later wed again with family at a more religious ceremony in Toronto that my grandfather arranged.
