Revisited this old B&W circa 1928 (1930), when my mother was 16(18)years old.
The confusion is due to my grandparents falsifying my mother's age on her immigration papers because she was so small for her age they made her two years younger, so six instead of eight in 1920.

My mother passed away in 1993 from Alzheimer's so having her portrait hanging in my home feels like she is still close by.
